It’s been soooo long…how are you?
Sorry I have been a bit incommunicado over the past few months…like everyone on this big rock spinning through space, it’s been a year for the record books, hasn’t it?
Let’s get back to the, “how are you?”
How is your health? Your energy? Your stress, worry…howz about, how is everything?
Back in the spring I wrote as well as published on social media the importance of taking care of oneself- as social distancing, isolation, etc, can have a major impact on ones health.
Regardless if you get sick via COVID or any other cold or flu, there is a real threat to ones emotional and mental wellbeing…research on forced isolation and social distancing due to outbreaks and pandemics show issues such as anxiety, depression, and even PTSD.
And we know, that all of these implications can have a direct impact to ones physical health…from lack of sleep, hormonal disruption, metabolic...
We have been through a lot lately, haven’t we?
Just thinking back, during the New Year, a roaring economy, jobs, jobs, jobs, it seemed world tensions were at their chillest point in many years, as Scott Adams, the creator of Dilbert called it…The Golden Age.
And Whammm! … a virus cripples the world, shuts down the economy, sends people scurrying to distance themselves, isolate, schools are closed, and world travel is halted.
If you think this won’t have an impact after the storm, you might be mistaken.
Some tidbits of what history and the research data tells us:
I have been asked a bunch lately, what am I doing to protect myself and support my immunity in this time of quarantine and “lock down.”
I first wanted to share with you what I think is critically important during these times…think and feel based on facts that we know, go with your gut and your heart, not ego and fear. Be smart, eat right, manage stress, move, get out in the sunshine, you can be alone, although work not to be lonely, and get enough sleep.
Next, let’s talk supplements.
Personally, I am not doing any more than usual, although I understand if people choice to do so.
And please note, I am not making any claims that these supplements can prevent or treat COVID, I am sharing based on both broad and targeted immune support.
Low libido, lack of zest, erectile dysfunction, decline in muscle mass and strength, decline in mental aggressiveness, even mood disorders can be signs and symptoms of “male menopause,” otherwise known as andropause.
Like women, men have a change in life, a noticeable decline or cessation of hormonal activity, often leading to both symptoms as well as opening up risk factors for disease.
Our testosterone is at its highest when we are twenty. Once a man hits their 30's, their testosterone levels, their testosterone levels drop 1% each year, thus year after year, there can be a precipitous drop.
As I have been rolling out The Apollo Way, Optimal Wellness and Peak Performance for Men, as well as speaking and consulting more on the topic of mens health and andropause, the question comes up...how can I naturally boost my testosterone levels?
This is a great question, because there are alternatives and complements other than testosterone replenishment, especially if someone is...
Cognitive function and brain health are one of the most popular areas of interest of both conventional and nutritional medicine. Whether it’s for a better memory, slowing the onset of cognitive decline, or just feel mentally clearer, people are looking for help.
In the realm of nutraceuticals for memory, there comes a challenge. Finding the right product to target ones memory issues (because all are not alike) with a relevant amount of each nutrient to do its job.
As there are numerous different nutrients for cognitive support, one could be finding themselves taking gobs of pills every day.
From a chemist point of view, I love a good formula, a formula so well crafted that it provides effective targeted support, strong clinical backing, and works via multiple pathways. This is why I love CogniPhos from Pure Encapsulations for cognitive support- just look at all the benefits that can come from this formulation.
CogniPhos offers a synergistic combination of phosphatidylserine,...

I like to call it my zen 10, although its usually a twenty minute break from my day, step into the land of relaxation and renewal- the power nap!
I have been told its my super power- as many people have difficulty napping in the middle of the day, and others say they don't like how it makes them feel when they wake up- I encourage all, to take the lessons from the animal kingdom and cultures of the siesta...even if its a twenty minute break, be open for the benefits of such rest and renewal.
So if you are looking for a fix for your afternoon lull, a boost to your creativity, mental sharpness, memory, and overall well-being, consider the power of a nap!
Let's take a quick look at some bene's from different nap cycles:
